MONACOR GOLD PLATED 4 x SPEAKER SPIKES & BASES
Gold-Plated Monacor Speaker Spikes (Part No. SPS-35/GO) [12.9130]
Each pack contains 4 spikes & 4 bases. (enough for One Loudspeaker)
Spikes are 34mm long + 7.5mm of M6 thread Spikes and all fittings are Gold-Plated then lacquer coated to prevent tarnishing.
The spikes screw into the 10mm deep Push-In inserts and require a 7mm hole to be drilled into the base of the speaker.
The purpose of spikes is to mechanically couple the speakers to the floor. This coupling is essential in achieving the best sonic performance and will dramatically improve clarity, stereo imaging and also tighten up the bass response.
The spikes should fully pierce the carpet, coming into solid contact with the solid floor below. Should you have laminate, hardwood or tile floors, spikes (18mm dia) should still be used but sat on the bases ( Supplied )
